Feature: Designer & Artist TP

Updated: Sep 2, 2021

TP, Te Puawai Pirret, is a graphic designer and artist from New Zealand. She wants to strengthen those around her and believes strongly in manifestation and vibrations that she surrounds herself with. Her art continuously symbolises empowerment and fearlessness, using colours and women figures as her subject.

When asked to respond to the question, "What is it that you have been made to feel ashamed of, that is, in fact, your sacred power?" she shares,

"Back in my youth years, being indigenous and a woman made life significantly different socially in occupation, intelligence and daily activities. But becoming an adult I have learnt how to overcome the negative feelings others have towards my culture and myself as a person and channel that energy to fuel my passions."
